Into the Wishing Woods: A Creative Drama Adventure (Ages 6-10)

Let's adventure into the Wishing Woods!Inspired by The Wish Tree by Kyo Maclear and Chris Turnham, students will journey through three exciting classes as they explore a winter forest full of animal friends and search for a magical Wish Tree.

This immersive Creative Drama three-class series invites kids to dive into character creation, explore storytelling, and practice working together to bring a theatrical story to life. They'll also create simple props and costume pieces to bring their adventure to life and enhance their storytelling journey. No experience needed to join us for a fun theatre adventure in the Wishing Woods!

This drop-off program is designed to be engaging and collaborative—a wonderful way to make new friends and build creativity along the way. 

Please Note:

• Program Structure: This is a three-class series held weekly on Saturdays. Consistent attendance is key to the experience, so we kindly ask families to sign up only if able to commit to all three classes, except in case of illness or emergencies. Thank you!

• Seasonal Note: Instead of camps this December (due to the holiday schedule), we’re offering these fun classes to give as many kids as possible a chance to enjoy theatre.

• Class Expectations: Students need to be comfortable working as part of a group for an hour. We ask that adults do not stay for the classes. With two teachers and a Staff Member on Duty, we ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
