Creative Drama Club - Adventures in the Wishing Woods (Ages 3.5 - 6)

Welcome to the Wishing Woods! Inspired by the book The Wish Tree, by Chris Turnham and Kyo Maclear, students will embark on a three-class adventure into a wonderful winter woods full of animal friends, as they search for a special Wish Tree!

Creative Drama is a play-filled, immersive form of theatre, where children create characters, inhabit stories, and practice creatively collaborating as they make drama together. We also make theatrical crafts that are used as props, characters, and costume elements. 

This drop-off program is lots of fun, and a great way to make new friends too! 

Children need to be fully potty trained and comfortable working as part of a group for an hour. We kindly ask that adults do not stay for the classes. Rest assured, we have two teachers and a Staff Member on Duty at all times to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

NOTES:

• This is a three-class series, with a class once a week on Saturdays. We have had a lot of problems with Saturday attendance. Please only sign up if you are able to commit to attending the three classes, unless there is an emergency. Thank you!

• We are welcoming our 6 year olds for this Creative Drama Club sequence to help as many kids as possible be able to have theatre fun in December.

• There are no camps in December this year because the Christmas holiday is on a Wednesday, which makes it impossible for us to schedule around. Fun classes instead! :)
